Lloyd’s List Top 100
Shipping makes the world go round, but who makes shipping go round? Every industry has its movers and shakers, but few remain as personality driven as shipping. The shipping industry is often called ‘a small’ world. This may seem odd given that 90% of world trade is driven by shipping and that, in annual turnover, the industry is immense. But it rings true in the sense that many of the key figures in the shipping industry know each other. If they haven’t met, they certainly know each other by reputation. In shipping, one of the few remaining industries in which your word is your bond, the character and reputation of shipping leaders is a matter of constant discussion.
In a special publication, Lloyd’s List presents the industry’s crème de la crème, ranking them in importance from one to 100 on the basis of their influence over this crucial industry. This includes profiles of the Top 100, sub-category lists, a breakdown by region, Lloyd’s List Intelligence statistics throughout and a summary of the judging criteria.
